SPEED-DATING FOR THE SENSES
(AND THE SENSITIVE)

Have you ever been drawn to the scent of a stranger’s ‘musk’? Does the sound of their voice drive you mad with desire? Why do some touches feel ‘electric’? Can the senses determine compatibility?

Speed-dating for the Senses (and the sensitive), an evening of experiments investigating what role the five senses play in determining attraction and compatibility between mates. Our hypothesis: when examined in isolation, the five senses make harmonized choices that reliably reflect potential compatibility. In blind experiments, the senses are asked to ‘choose’ potential mates. The results of each experiment are recorded. Sensory data is charted by our head scientists and revealed at the event.
